Bellarific Friday

Okay I realize its not friday, but I wish it were. Its very very late. But I'm sitting here, waiting for Shutterfly to process my order for a free photobook. And waiting for the hubs to be done working...

So in a moment of temporary brilliance (or insanity), I've decided to post. Even though Nina was supposed to post her card and didnt. I did the card on what I should refer to as my DCWV Latte Card weekend. In which I was highly productive and made like a half dozen cards out of the same pattern paper pack. Which then turns out they all look alike. But eh...I still like them. This probably looks a bit deja vu-y. But I was doing samples of Ketto in just about the same colors and decided to mount the samples I inked up. Dont wanna be wasting precious copic ink. And her fairy wings are way tooo cute to not post. I likes her glittery wings.

The next card is another from the Greeting Farm's Hope and Grace set. I still think she's one of the most adorable images I have in my collection.

Okay...I swear I'll be back w/ the card dets later. But the hubs is sleepy and I am sooo ready for bed.

Back to Hogwarts

In this week's episode of TCP Tuesday, Amy at Ink About Me had a back to school themed challenge. And while I love crayons just as much as the next girl, I seem to have bad luck with them. They break. All the time. Maybe I press too hard. Either way its extremely frustrating. Oh, and I couldnt find my crayons anyway.

So it was back to the drawing board....which turned out to be a chalkboard. And I decided to combine my two favorite things, Harry Potter and stamping. Mr. Ohashi is actually an 8th grade Math Teacher, though he'd love to be a professor at Hogwart. And of course, he is not be as evil as Umbridge. He makes students write their lines on a chalkboard and not magically on the backs of their hands.

Card Recipe
Stamps: TCP's Arrgh! Piratey
Paper - BG Lemonade pack, SU!
Ink: Memento Black, white pen, copics
Others: Ribbon and BG buttons

Quickie Post

So this card is based off of one of the Taylor Expressions Cupcake Challenge Sketch. Its Stella from Stamping Bella. I was soooo excited to get my SB order I could hardly wait to ink them up. The sentiment's from TCP's You say its your birthday. It's a birthday card for one of my coworker's who's birthday was in July. But it was the end of July, so really I'm only two weeks late....

This next card I believe is a mojo monday sketch. A really old one. I had the image and scallop oval all done and couldnt figure out what to do w/ it. 'Lo and behold my sketch book was flipped to a page w/ an oval scallop! It was fate I'd say. Anyway this is another Stamping Bella image (and sentiment), Maisy Ketto. I totally flipped over her glittery wings. I thought they were just sooooo adorable. I love all things sparkley and couldnt resist adding some bling to the flower and her crown. Though I dont know if you can really tell in the pix. The paper I think is mostly from DCWV Latte set.

This last card is another mojo monday sketch. Can you tell, I've been obsessed w/ this paper pack. Actually it was more of a convenience thing. It was already out and I was too lazy to go find something else. Plus I'm totally digging the purple and blue colors now...

Anyway this is Greeting Farm's Mermaid Anya. Isnt she awesome? In retrospect I might've done a more watery looking paper (rather than plant life-ish) but I was being slothy. Anyways, this was a super quick card seeing as how I inked her a while ago and all I had do was cut and paste.

Oh boy...three cards in one post. I do believe that's some sort of record for me. However, the hubs got baseball twice this week so there's probably not much time for stamping much less posting. How sad.

TCP Tuesday on Friday

So it is yet another TCP Tuesday challenge. This week the hostess is Susan w/ a challenge to use any TCP cupcake or cake stamp. And the Smells like cake set was purrfect for this. The sketch is an old mojo monday sketchie that I just love. I think the paper was DCWV spring stack.
