American Girl Anya

I've been playing with my new PTI stuff and hit a bit of a block. So I decided to change courses and try out an idea I had for this week's Anyone for Anya. This week's challenge was to use the colors of our flag. It was a bit difficult, b/c while I love my country, I'm just not that fond of the red and blue on my cards. But Nina told me that I could not pose from another country b/c she was pretty sure there werent any pink & brown flags.

Anyway, this is what I came up with. I colored in TGF's Angel Anya. I havent used her before and figured, what the heck. I added a bit of stickles to her wings and went over her halo with some gold lame smooch. And you totally cannot tell from the picture, but I ran the blue panels through my bug and embossed it w/ spots & dots.

I left it unsentimented b/c I'm not quite sure what I'm going to use it as. A patriotic thank you? Know anybody born on the 4th of July?

The Dets:
Stamps: TGF Angel Anya
Paper: MB holly berry, SU!, Neenah white
Ink: Copics, Memento Black, black multiliner
Accessories: smooch, stickles, cuttlebug, spots&dots embossing folder

  2. You can be from the Land of John Deere. Apparently, they make decorative pink and brown flags. hehe...
