A Tuesday FFF

Bones is being rerun on TNT tonight. Unfortunately I think I've seen all three episodes. Curses Netflix...But SYTYCD is on tonight! I'm excited for possibly more awesome breaker boys.

Anyway, here's my card for this week's FFF at the Greeting Farm blog. This week is a sketchie challenge and was one of the four challenges I completed this Sunday. This is possibly one of my last cards from borrowed the Fly Away set. But I should be able start on my halloween cards soon.

I used some extra scalloped edge paper I punched to create photo corners for this card. I thought it added a nice little extra aspect.

The Dets:
Stamps: TGF Fly Away
Paper: MB, BG lemonade paper pack
Ink: Brilliance graphite black, copics,

Anyone for Anya Monday

Its been a little bit since I posted. When I logged on the post this, I hadnt realized that I never posted all weekend. I guess I...forgot? Tis not like I was all that busy...

Anyways, I was going to post three cards today but the formatting gets all wonky when I try to post more than one card. Which annoys me, so I'll just split it up. I was very productive yesterday. I finished up four challenges, only I'm completely scrapping one b/c I dont dig the way it turned out. But this card is for this weekends Anyone for Anya sketch challenge. I've lurked since they've opened but never really got my act together in time to do a challenge.

The Dets
Stamps: TGF Hula Anya, Stamping Bella happy birthday
Paper: MB espresso, Neenah white, Basic Grey Indian Summer paper pack
Ink: Copics, Memento Black, Brilliance pearlescent chocolate
Accessories: BG buttons, krafters twine, Martha Stewart Punch

Fly Away Friday

I really love the piggy. He's so adorable. Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday and, boy, it couldn't have come soon enough.

I stamped him on a spellbinders die cut panel and popped the balloons up for some dimension. I ended up outlining the panel a bit b/c it seemed to plain. A smarter girl might've stamped piggy on a smaller panel, but I had precut a bunch of panels at Nina's b/c...well the cuttlebug is on my extremely getting-longer-by-the-day want list. I figured out later I could've stamped a few clouds in the white space...but...doh! Oh well maybe next time.

Stamps: TGF Fly Away
Paper: SU!, MB, October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper pack
Ink: Copics, Memento black, Versafine Black

Swissy SYTYCD Wednesday

It's Wednesday and Fox just gave me a great reason to look forward to hump day. And oh. my. God. I just watched the bestest b-boy ever! Boston's definitely got some talent.

And the Krump dancer....wow.

Anyway, this little Swiss Pixie from CC Designs has nothing to do w/ the krump or breaking, but she's adorable. And I love me adorable things w/ glittery wings.

Now commercials are almost over and I've gotta get back to convincing the hubs we could totally do some of those breaker moves...I'm still trying to convince him that we can do the Josh and Kadee taking off the jacket move from their No Air performance. No luck yet...

The Dets
Stamps: CC Designs Swiss Pixie Heidi among the flowers
Paper: MB, SU, BG lemonade paper pack
Ink: Memento Black, copics

Aloha...

Happy Monday! Its the beginning of the new fall season. Big Bang Theory is on tonight. So was HIMYM but we were out to dinner w/ the in-laws so I'll just have to catch it on a rerun. And that new show, Accidentally on Purpose, is actually pretty funny.

So its a quickie post.

Again I made this for the Club Anya DT farewell but didnt finish in time. I've had it inked but not colored for the longest time.

Back to Accidentally on Purpose...hilarious show...

Bat-Pig!!!

I've always loved Batman. Even before Christian Bale came along to revive it. In fact I was one of my alter-egos when I was...younger...Which essentially meant I used to run around in a friend's oversized hoodie (that went down to my knees) like it was my cape and hum the batman song. That was in high school.

Yeah...I was a dork.

Anyway I altered the uber cute TGF's Fly Away piggy a bit to turn him into the Dark Pig. He doesnt have a cool utility belt though, but he's working on it. Mostly he's trying to decide if he wants to be the Dark Pig or possibly the next Dracula b/c lets face it...vamps are in now.

I added an embossed panel to it b/c this weeks' FFF challenge was to "emboss it" (and I was too lazy to take out my heating gun...) So this is the first of my halloween cards. Hopefully it wont be my last. But its already one more than I made last year. *g*

Underdog and underwater

Apparently today was a banner day for underdog sports. Our UW Huskies who didnt win a single game last year beat out a highly ranked team, whatever that means. Everyone was crazy excited and talking about how it was the way the defense held the other team or certain plays. Personally I think it was the new gold stripes on their uniforms.

Hehe...

I really dont but then again, sparkles make everything better. Ooh and even UH is winning...right now...

Anyway, this card is a super late farewell case for one of the Club Anya DTer's cards. But I didnt have a chance to finish it, much less pix and post it. So here it is a week or so late. I added a bit of gold smoochies to her top, but smoochies just dont show up that well in pictures.

The Dets:
Stamps: TGF Mermaid Anya
Paper: DCWV Citrus paper pack, MB red pepper, blk & white cardstock
Ink: Copics, Memento Black

A {For Real} Bellarific Friday

Okay this is gonna be a really short post cause I'm on my lunch break right now. The hubs has a game tonight again so I wont be able to post. Anyway, happy bellarific friday! I thought this day would never come.

I believe this card was based off of one of Jen's SFYTT but I cant quite remember b/c I did it a very long time ago. Only I ended up not liking the original and tweeked a bunch of things and liked this one way better.

Tomorrow I should have an Anya to post. I was gonna do that today but I figure my other stamps need some attention too...

A Late FFF

Have I ever gushed about how awesome my friend Nina is? Well she is super awesome. And not just because she let me play with her Fly Away set either. But right now, that's the primary reason for her rise to awesomeness.

Anyway this is the card I made that (loosely) fits the sketch challenge for TGF's Farm Fresh Friday. I guess the deadline was last night so oh well. I actually finished it quite late last night but didnt have time to get the pix uploaded. And you totally cant tell from the picture but I outlined everything w/ a spica glitter pen so it sparkles just a tad...

Its gonna be a quickie post b/c tonight is SYTYCD!!! I love that show. Its pretty much the only reality show that the hubs and I watch. But Josh and Kadee are still my all time favorites!!!

Anyway this is yet another Rain card from the Greeting Farm. Getting tired of them yet? I'm not...hehe.

Anyway, gotta go watch the super fabulous dancers now. And laugh at the super horrible ones....(hey isnt that the point of reality tv?)

Steak and Seafood Sunday

So the inlaws and inlaw's inlaws are in town and there are currently five people cooking in my kitchen. Obviously I am not one of them. But in my defense, my kitchen is quite little and they are cooking seafood. I dont ever cook seafood so I'd be about as helpful in there as a 2-year old might be.

Instead I decided to (finally) post my 2 scoops rice card. I've been told that the creator hails from my homestate Hawaii. Maybe that's why I'm so in love with the super cutsey images. Either the images are way cute.

I decided to leave it blank and maybe stamp a sentiment with the need for this card comes. Probably a congrats maybe a baby's birthday.

Stamps: 2 scoops rice Garden Fairies Set 1

Diva Get Well

This is my attempt at a get well card for my coworker. She broke her arm right before the really long weekend and I thought the new TCP You Sick Thing would've been perfect. But sadly I do not have it. It's on my very very long wants list.

So I had to make do with my super awesome Stamping Bella Addy Tude diva stamp. And I've gotta say, every so often I make a card and totally flat out loooove it. This is one of them. I added a bit of moonlight smoochies again to her sunglasses but I guess it doesnt show up so well in pix.

Anyways, its quite a bit late and all the in-laws are in town. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my 2 Scoops card posted...

Fluttery Anya 2.0

So I've been into this grey-black hair lately, I think its because I have the most color range in this for "normalish" hair color. I colored her skirt with some moonlight Smooch and then went over the edges and the wings with some stickles for a super glittery effect. While I sooo love the spica glitter pen, I gotta say the stickles is way way way more sparkly. I think the spica's a bit more subtle whilst the stickles is just all bling.

Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a bit of time to blog. But the hubs got a baseball game way way up north. I've still got a 2 scoops rice card to show and the image is too cute. So until tomorrow (hopefully), I bid adieu.

The Dets

Annie's Anya Bookmark

Another quickie post, cause its late. The hubs and I just got back from the airport, his folks are here for a bit.

Anyway, I made another anya bookmark. The pink one's supposed to be for my friend, if I decide to give it up. But I really likes it. Though I suppose I only need one...

Dont know if it really came out in the picture but I glitterfied parts of the white in Miss Snow.

Happy Monday! Quickie post because it's a bit late. I think this is the first time I've been able to do a mojo monday sketchie on...*gasp* Monday. How cool. It did help that I had a day off today. Which makes it a fabulous Monday. Its Stamping Bella's Monstah Bash and I sooo loves it. I like the lime and navy but sadly I dont gots any good navy copics.

Okay I was gonna post an Anya card but I cant deal w/ the wonky formating that blogspot does. So tomorrow...

Doodlebug Anya

So I stamped out four images of Snow, from The Greeting Farm's Rain Snow Shine set and this was one of the outcomes. I'm really digging the blackish hair. And mixed w/ the light pink and green it was the perfect piece for this yummy Doodlebug paper. I finished off the card w/ a bit of spica glitter, but it probably didnt come out very well in the picture. But since she doesnt have fairy wings, I have to incorporate glitter somewhere right? Okay well I'm off. The hubs is watching a cartoon and I swear I know the crazy anime's girl's voice from somewhere. Thank good for imdb.com and wikipedia. And even better, tomorrow's Friday. And not just any Friday, the Friday before a three day weekend. Wahoo!!!

The Dets:
Stamps: TGF Rain Snow Shine and Amuse Arts happy birthday
Paper: Memory Box, SU!, Doodlebug
Ink: Memento Black, Copics, Spica

Boy and Bella Cards

So this card is a bit more reminiscent of how my cards used to look. Before I was became obsessed with copics and discovered all these super fabulous online stores. Before Cat's Pajamas, Bella...before...the Greeting Farm.

Anyway, this was a birthday card for my honey. And I couldn't very well give him a glittery pink fairy card. Well I could, but I think he appreciated this one so much more. The paper is origami paper I found on our trip to Japan. Coincidentally I got it at the same store that I found Copics for like 265-yen. Can you believe it???? That's like less than $3 a pen. I had a freak out and the sales people seemed highly concerned with my incoherent squealing and looks of utter joy. Of course they couldnt understand a single thing I was saying (b/c they didnt speak english or Jamie-babble), but still strange looks abound (from the workers) and lots of excited hopping (by me).

And as mentioned, this is Shower Bugg by Stamping Bella. I gotta say, while I had a bit of problems coloring (b/c it seemed really boring w/ just the two colors) she's still so adorable. Have you noticed a trend? I'm fairly sure most of my Bellas gots pretty fairy wings. I totally cased the layout from Jodi, cause she's just a rock star. She even inspired the paper piercing, cause she paper pierces all her stuff. I think she cased the layout from someone else.
