This was one of those stamps I saw in blogland and thought it was adorable. Very strange as I'm deathly afraid of birds and other assorted flying things. But there's something about these owls that are just so darn cute. My only problem was I had a hard time locating them in blogland.
Cut to many months later on a visit back home, in a little shop called Cute Stuff. Lo and behold, there's my little owls just waiting for me to take them home. I even got them free to me as my mama bought them for me in return for some not-so-slave crafty labor I did for her.
I stamped the owls on an oval nestie and sponged the edges before I colored them up in copics. I added some glossy accents to juicy worm. Then I used MFT's baby banner for the words. I didn't have any sentiments that go w/ the stamp, but every time I see those owls I think they're saying "ooh dinner!"
The Dets:
Stamps: Rachel Miller Hoo Hoo There, MFT baby alphabet
Paper: MB notecard, MME so sophie, October afternoon
Ink: Memento black, Versafine ocean tides, copics
Accessories: glossy accents, oval nesties, PTI lemon tart ss ribbon, divine twin, MFT baby banner, kaiser pearls
Ha! Funny! The owlies are adorable!
