Boy and Bella Cards

So this card is a bit more reminiscent of how my cards used to look. Before I was became obsessed with copics and discovered all these super fabulous online stores. Before Cat's Pajamas, Bella...before...the Greeting Farm.

Anyway, this was a birthday card for my honey. And I couldn't very well give him a glittery pink fairy card. Well I could, but I think he appreciated this one so much more. The paper is origami paper I found on our trip to Japan. Coincidentally I got it at the same store that I found Copics for like 265-yen. Can you believe it???? That's like less than $3 a pen. I had a freak out and the sales people seemed highly concerned with my incoherent squealing and looks of utter joy. Of course they couldnt understand a single thing I was saying (b/c they didnt speak english or Jamie-babble), but still strange looks abound (from the workers) and lots of excited hopping (by me).

And as mentioned, this is Shower Bugg by Stamping Bella. I gotta say, while I had a bit of problems coloring (b/c it seemed really boring w/ just the two colors) she's still so adorable. Have you noticed a trend? I'm fairly sure most of my Bellas gots pretty fairy wings. I totally cased the layout from Jodi, cause she's just a rock star. She even inspired the paper piercing, cause she paper pierces all her stuff. I think she cased the layout from someone else.
